Plaid Vest Dress

Hey Beauties!

Last weekend was definitely one for the books! I had such a moving, inspiring weekend. I put together a women empowerment workshop on finding purpose. I wanted to do something empowering around this area and I got the idea to do this workshop. I have been feeling disoriented and kind of discouraged as to my future and what my goal is here on this earth. I searched for huge sign with flashing lights the clearly reads my purpose: like Beyonce. Her purpose is clear, and it’s definitely in huge, shining lights: ENTERTAINER. I won’t get too into it as you can read more about that in my post on the Live On Purpose Workshop.

Because finding my purpose and living each day with intent is a goal of mine for 2019, I thought this workshop would be a great start. I put together this look that read, boss babe. I wanted to make a good impression on the attendees of the event so I wore this plaid vest dress from Shein. Blazer are always a good idea in making a professional statement and now that blazer dresses are trendy, why not. It is perfect for all boss babes. I wore this sock booties since the weather is still not quite spring like and it is still appropriate to wear boots. The boots brought the look together very feel.
