Shein Summer Haul
Hey Fashionistas,
We have officially gotten into the month of August, which means, (tear drop) summer is almost over. However, before we kiss warm weather and longer days goodbye, there is still time to go out with a fashion bam! I got these few pieces I am featuring throughout this blog post from Shein.com and I am in love. This summer has pretty much all been about straw hats, two pieces and wide leg pants. All three of these trends are easy to put together and chic to wear.
Denim Dress
This dress is one of my favorites this season. I love how curvy it makes me feel and how this shade of blue looks amongst my skin tone. It is just perfect for the summer and can be easily styles. Because I have small obsession with straw hats, I opt into accessorizing this beautiful casual dress with this straw hat for an extra dose of pop. Due to the straw hat, I had to compliment it with a straw bag as well, to give it more summer vibes. Lastly, I wore these pink wedges that I felt perfect tied the entire look together. Wedges gives me casual yet elegant feel and I that was exactly what I was shooting for with this look.
Scalloped Dress
Another important summer trend for 2019 is this scallop material. It is everywhere! All over retail stores and in all types: tops, skirts, dress, etc.
As subtle as this color may look to you, it is a small step outside my comfort zone. If you notice, I tend to gravitate more towards neutral colors; whites, beiges, pinks, etc. I do not normal wear yellow, or much color for that matter. I was recently told that yellow is my color and it really brings out an inner glow in me. Therefore I am wearing a little more yellow this summer than I would have normally. I loved the material of this dress because it is thick enough yet flowy, all at the same time. It gives me such cute summer vibes. As I said before, straw hats are my favorite accessory this summer and again here is another example as to why. It just elevates any look, especially in the summer. I also added a woven bag and slides for a casual feel. Does this look give you all the summer vibes or what???
Wide Leg Capri
I was always so afraid of wide leg pants. I am only 5 feet tall so I feared it making me look too short. However, they looks so good on everyone else, I though I would take the risk. I learned that the key to these pants, is the length. Now, I can really live in capri wide leg pants, all summer long, and well into Fall, I’m sure. I love this style pant. It is just perfect for styling for work in a more professional atmosphere and also for a casual day around town. It has been my closet staple this summer for sure. Since this style pant is black and looks more on the dressier side, I paired it with this cami and low sandal heel for a more casual feel. Invest in a pair of capri wide leg pants. They are perfect for any month of the year.

Known as co-ords, matching sets or two piece sets. The best thing that can happen to my lazy fashionistas out there. These two piece summer outfits are easy it is to put something together and actually look put together; easy to just throw on and go. It makes getting dressed much easier and time efficient. And of course, you can mix and match as well. These sets have been hot all summer and I don’t think they will be going anywhere for a while. Perfect for all lazy days, for taking away the stress of figure out what to wear, and if you think about it, you are buying two pieces for the price of one.
