An Afternoon of Pumpkin Picking

Happy Saturday Guys!

Fall is in full swing now, especially since the weather has dropped. But regardless of the cold, it really is such a beautiful time to be outdoors, apple and pumpkin picking and going to fall festivals.

I mean yes, you can go to the supermarket to buy pumpkins but how much more fun would it be to be out in the fields, taking pictures, picking out the pumpkins you like. Its just much more authentic.

I made a point to go pumpkin picking before the month of October ended. I love spending time with my girls and because of the fall season, and the fact that I live in New England, pumpkin and apple picking is so perfect and necessary. Such a fun tradition for New Englanders.

When Ariel and I first started dating, and he moved to CT from NY, we use to pumpkin pick for carving purposes. He is so artsy so it was extraordinary to see his designs. Since we had the girls, though, and without much explanation, we stopped carving pumpkins. I really don't have much of a reason as to why, except that we’re just pure lazy to find the time; however, I still want to keep the tradition going. Now we pumpkin pick and use the pumpkin as fall décor around the house.

How cool is it that we now have white pumpkins??? Aren’t white pumpkins the chicest ever? I am excited to have them as part of my Halloween and Fall décor since I am shooting for a white, farmhouse, rustic style home.

I knew I was heading to the field for pics with the girls, so I decided to wear this cute, yet warm, babydoll blouse, with skinny ripped jeans and boots. 3 words stood out in my mind when planning my outfit: warm, cute, comfortable. And I feel this look did just that.
